FAVOURITE SONG COVERED BY THE STANDARDS – Tubestation, of course

EARLY MUSICAL INFLUENCES – Showaddywaddy made me a drummer. I thought they were gods when I was a nipper

WHO WOULD YOU MOST LIKE TO MEET AND WHY – I would have liked a drink or two with Phil Lynott. I believe he was a really nice guy and I’ve always been a fan of Thin Lizzy

FUNNIEST MOMENT IN THE STANDARDS – It wasn’t very funny at the time, but years ago when we were playing Pips Night Club in Shipley, I got settled to start the second set, unaware that Bernie had collapsed in a drunken stupor behind my drums. Not long after starting, he awoke and decided to squeeze my, shall we say ‘lap’. OK, he squeezed my bollocks so hard that I hit and split my snare drum and had to play the rest of the set with half a skin (on my snare)

MOST OUTRAGEOUS THING YOU’VE DONE – The daftest thing I ever did was to smoke. I stopped in 1994

MOST MEMORABLE DREAM – I dreamed I had a beautiful wife and kids and I was in a great band. Who would have thought it….
